Our Rock Orchestra program is returning on fortnightly Fridays in Term 2 — for ages 10 to Secondary School.
Thanks to everyone who participated in our school holiday workshop — heaps of fun!
We’re kicking off with Bohemian Rhapsody and working towards a recording session / music video shoot in June! The band will also pick some tunes to record / perform.
PARENT MUSICIANS welcome to join this term ath no additional charge (with an enrolled young musician). Working With Children’s card (Volunteer) required.

Term 2 Dates:
Rock Orchestra Friday Rehearsals – 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Woodend Primary Music Room : **Now May 3, May 17, May 31, Jun 14
Recording Session / Video Shoot: TBC Fri June 21 (usual 6:30 time) & Sat June 22 (2-4 pm).

Parent Musicians!:
We’d love to have you involved — whether full or part time. Come learn & jam alongside your young musician at no additional charge. Working With Children’s check is mandatory. Please apply for a Volunteer WWCC if you don’t already have one to supply.

The Rock Orchestra is open to committed musicians from age 9 / Year 4+ to Adults — and open to ALL instruments! You are welcome to join at ANY stage of your musical journey — including Beginners and lapsed musicians. You’ll receive support all along the way to find your voice, develop your skills and become a part of this awesome ensemble. This ensemble will be particularly invaluable to Senior School musicians looking to build skills for their performance exams.
Instruments include: Vocals, Keyboards, Drums, Guitars, Ukulele, Woodwinds, Brass, Strings, Percussion. Rehearsals will include 2 x 40 min sessions with 10 min break.
Please note: This program does not qualify for the Family Pricing discount. Full fee is non-refundable including in attendance. Pay-in-4 option available.
