The RMN has a dedicated and passionate team of specialist, Artist Mentors that are here to support young and old musicians and creatives.

Our musicians always comment that making music and building creativity with the Ranges Music Network is different than any other learning experience they've had before.
Whether with pre-schoolers, Preps, Primary, Teens or Adults -- we always have fun and use the love of music to inspire your progress. It's not just a tagline -- it's what we do day in, day out.
The RMN is based around inclusion and not exclusivity. We're here to support all of our members to have fun and grow -- regardless of your age or ability.
We support and encourage musicians and nourish a mutual respect between learners and mentors. Our Team uses the latest research on brain development, a needs-based, neuro-affirming approach to inform how we support your growth.
Having a talented and dedicated team of Artist Mentors is key to our success. We support our team to grow and develop their skills and knowledge to ensure they can support you with valuable feedback, insights and experience.
The primary job of your Mentor is to open doors for you to walk, run or jump through. We're here to nuture your interest and passions to promote confidence and ingenuity throughout all aspects of your life.

Here's what will happen for our in-school programs when it comes to lesson or ensemble time -- and what you can do between sessions.
You'll receive a notice via email or SMS when you have an upcoming lesson, or with a reminder to check schedules.rangesmusic.net for your upcoming sessions.
Those with portable instruments of their own (Gutiars, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass) can bring their instruments to school for their session.
Your Music Mentor will come and collect you from class and you'll head to the teaching space.
Your Mentor will add feedback, notes and resources to share with you online. Don't forget to pose for that lesson 'snap of the day!' (Rock Star poses are a must!).
There will be some suggestions of things you can work on and pointers to resources to have a go at if you're looking for something new!
You can use the email link or log into your Member Portal (coming soon!) to review what your Mentor has shared.
Remember that 5 to 10 minutes of play a day (focused or just fun) will go a long way to building your motor pathways!!
Your upcoming member portal will have the ability to capture and share video, audio or snaps of your efforts at home with your team -- plus post a question for one of us to provide support with!

Shaun Evans brought together a team of talented Music Educators to offer in-school music lessons at Macedon Primary in 2020. It quickly grew to 3, then 5 then 8 schools and onward! We're proud to #playtolearn with over 250 musicians each week across the Macedon Ranges.
The ultimate goal of the RMN is to become a Not-For-Profit charitable organization supporting Arts Education and Creative Thinking for all ages. We're big fans that you're never too young to start -- and never too old to learn! #lifelonglearning.

No worries! The RMN is starting Casual community-based programs in Term 4 2024. Book in any time and many programs allow you to invite a friend. We also have our RMN Rock Orchestra programs for Teens.
Not at all. Each subscription comes with a two week cooling off period / minimum participation. You can always cancel your subscription or change to a different program (pending availablility). Get in touch if you have any enrolment questions.
Visit our schedules hub at schedules.rangesmusic.net. We're working on iCal / Google calendar feeds so you can subscribe to your upcoming sessions through your Member Portal.
Yes! Hop into your Member Portal to invite a new member to your Family account.
Easy! Hop into your Member Portal and you'll be able to locate the feedback, messages, resources and more for any Member in your Family account.
From Term 4 you'll see your current lesson count (for the term) at the top of your Lesson Notes. You'll also have access to your count through the Members Portal.
We're unable to advise if music lessons or individual social support programs are appropriate for your NDIS funding. Where your support team have requested an outline of our programs or individual supports we're happy to help. Please get in touch to discuss your individual situation further.

Where your musician prefers 1:1 support we have a variety of program options that can be tailored to your specific needs and interests!
